What safety measures are in place at SGT Hockey?

Safety is a top priority. All sessions are structured and supervised, waivers are required, and training areas are designed to promote controlled movement and focused repetitions. Players are expected to follow facility guidelines at all times.

Can more than one person train on a shooting lane?

Yes, depending on the session type and supervision. Multiple players may share a lane during group or team sessions to allow for efficient rotations and repetitions.

Can we bring food or drinks with team bookings?

Water is always encouraged. Food and other drinks may be permitted for team or private bookings with prior approval. Please contact us ahead of time to confirm guidelines.

Are parents allowed to watch?

Yes. Parents are welcome to watch training sessions, especially for younger players. We ask that spectators remain in designated areas so athletes can train safely and without distraction.

Why do I have to take my shoes off?

Shoes are removed to help keep the synthetic ice surface clean and in good condition. Dirt and debris can affect performance and safety on the training surface.

Why do we need white tape on our sticks?

White tape is required because it leaves less residue on the synthetic ice surface. This helps keep the training area clean and ensures consistent puck movement for all players.

What should players bring to training?

Do I need to sign a waiver before training?

Yes. Each player must have an individual waiver signed and on file before participating in any training session. Parents or legal guardians must complete waivers for minors.
